October 29th marks the release of the 3rd instalment in the Watch Dogs Franchise, Watch Dogs legion. And it promises to be the most ambitious Ubisoft title to date.
In the near future, London is facing its downfall. In the aftermath of bombing attacks, authoritarians and opportunists have filled the void left by an ineffective government and exploit the situation for their own gain. Watch Dogs: Legion is a game where ordinary people find the courage to put aside their differences and come together to stand up to these opportunists and take back their freedom.
In Watch Dogs: Legion you can recruit and play as any character you find in the open world. Each one of them has a backstory, personality and skillset that will help you create your own unique team. The fate of London lies with you, and your ability to recruit a Dedsec resistance and fight back.
If you're considering picking this one up, but want the best price. Once again your pals here at Gaming Australia have done the leg work so that you don't have to. So here are the cheapest prices for Watch Dogs Legion… (we will link to the PS4 version of the game where possible)
In store:
Big W - $69
Target - $79
EB Games - $99.95
Harvey Norman - $68
Online:
Amazon - $68
MightyApe - $67
Once again Harvey Norman is the cheapest in store price with Mightyape being surprisingly cheaper than Amazon for online pricing
I'm unsure how you'll go price matching at EB games on this one as they only seem to sell the Resistance version of the game as their base version so are unlikely to honor a price match. Regardless, here is a screenshot of the Cheapest In-Store price available if you wish to try.
Thanks to Ubisoft, I have spent the last 24 hours playing Watch Dogs Legion and my review will be up very soon.
