With only a week, or less until the arrival of the next gen consoles, more information has surfaced about just how much SSD space these next gen games will require. Lets just say, it's a bit grim…

We’ve all heard the jokes and seen the memes about the size of games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare, but it seems that even that pales in comparison to what we can expect from some “next gen games”.
Here are the "somewhat confirmed" file sizes that we know so far:
Call of Duty Black Ops - 285GB
SpiderMan: Miles Morales - 105GB
Demon Souls - 66GB
Godfall - 50GB
Assassins Creed: Valhalla - 50GB
Dirt 5 - 50GB
Watch Dogs 2 - 45GB
That’s a massive chunk of your SSD gone essentially on day 1. Time will tell if this 50-100GB is the new normal for next gen games, but given the increase in visuals and quality, we can only assume it will.
Thanks to Gaming Australia member Mark Frederick Robert for doing the legwork for this one and taking the photos to prove it.
