Heres a great Metroid Prime Trilogy rumour to possibly get very excited about! I know I am.
Apparently the trilogy will be available on Nintendo Switch from June 19, 2020.
Way back in 2018, Swedish retailer Inet published a pre-order listing for Metroid Prime Trilogy for Nintendo Switch.
The listing has remained on the site right up to today, though some changes to the listing have been made. Most importantly the game’s release date has been changed to June 19, 2020.
lt will finally release in less than a month's time and will contain;
Metroid Prime.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
Originally released on Nintendo Wii in 2009 and then ported to the WiiU, the Metroid Prime Trilogy is reputed to be three of the best first-person games ever made.
The same retailer also "accidentally" leaked the release date for Bayonetta a few days before it was officially announced, which seems to add more credibility to the rumour.
It’s unclear what is really going on at this time so we will have to wait for Nintendo’s official announcement to find out.
