Madden NFL has been around since 1988, spanning across 8 generations of gaming consoles. Alongside FIFA, Madden NFL is one of the most popular sport video games. This year will also mark the series first debut on The Epic Store.
In late 2021, John Madden passed away and in honour of him all the Madden NFL 23 covers will be of Madden himself. The new gen console cover (featured below) will feature him celebrating victory as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders at Super Bowl XI, while The All-Madden Edition is based on the same cover of the series first title in 1988, John Madden Football.
