Surprises, twists and world premieres; Gamescom kicks off live in Cologne, Germany hosted by Geoff Keighley, and co host Melek Balgun, from Wednesday August 24th until Sunday August 28th. The next few days will be quite busy in the gaming realm with brand new announcements and updates on previous games. With that in mind let's just jump into what was announced this morning;

Everywhere (aimed for a 2023 release)
Kicking off to start the show was Build a Rocket boy's new IP Everywhere. It's an ambitious open multi world game that will allow players to create their own fun however they like. This title is currently aiming for a 2023 release.
Dune: Awakening
A MMO open world survival game which looks pretty neat. There's also a beta you can register for to play the game early

The Lords of the Fallen
A reboot of the fantasy action RPG.
Moving Out 2 (release date expected 2023) Become a F.A.R.T once again in this sequel. Play solo, with a friend on couch co-op or online!. Become the best F.A.R.T there ever was!
Hogwarts Legacy (February 10 2023)
A brand new story trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, which takes a dark turn as it looks like players will be tempted to mess around with dark magic. What could possibly go wrong?

Not much to be said about this title at this point in time other than a brief look, but it looks pretty cool me hearties.
Marauders (early access coming October 2022)

Destiny 2: Lightfall (February 28, 2023)

Return to Monkey Island (September 19th 2022 - international talk like a pirate day!)
A fun reveal build up to the game's official release date which will be on International talk like a pirate day! The game launches in the month o' September on the 19th day 2022.
Moonbreaker (early access September 29th)
From the people behind Subnautica comes a fresh new IP. Once again they've deviated genre as Moonbreaker will be a digital tabletop strategy.
Friends vs Friends
With it's vibrant colours and cool art style, Friends vs Friends looks to be a FPS mixed with a card deck system.
Lies of P (expected release date 2023)
This souls-like action RPG steampunk title is inspired from the story of Pinocchio, and it looks pretty interesting.
Stranded: Alien Dawn (early access October 2022)
A Sci-Fi planet survival sim title. A bunch of survivors have landed on a mysterious planet, and it's up to you to keep them away from the danger that lurks.
Atlas Fallen (expected to release in 2023)
Anakin Skywalker would have an extremely uncomfortable time, but for the rest of us, this cool action RPG roguelike title will have us players using sand as their weapon.
Homeworld 3 (Launches first half of 2023)
A real-time strategy title that shows the potential paths players can take to defeat their enemies.

CrossfireX Babylon
An update for this fast faced FPS that includes new maps, weapons, vehicles + more.

Developed by four German students, this critically acclaimed building strategy title will also be releasing on the switch.
The Outlast Trials
This horror title prequel looks as horrifying as it does gruesome. Good news for us, there will be a closed beta from October 28th until November 1st.
The Finals
From ex-Battlefield developers, The Finals is a competitive shooter mixed in with a game show format.
and finally the long-awaited sequel;
Dead Island 2 (February 3 2023)
IT EXISTS! And it's finally dropping early next year. With 6 playable characters, you'll slash and hack zombies however you please!
There were also a few other announcements including Hideo Kojima's new podcast and Mini x Pokemon Aceman concept car!
