It could be a sign of the times or it could be a sign of the future of retail gaming stores but EB games have been sending out notices to some customers informing them that their local stores will be closing down in the coming weeks.
The news means that stores affected will have a 20% - 60% discount off all remaining stock however small that may be! According to reports these affected stores look to be closing on 25th and 26th of January.
The stores affected are......
ACT – Majura Park
NSW – Blacktown, Rockdale, Winston Hills, Birkenhead Point
QLD – Inala, Bribie Island, Underwood, Cleveland
SA – Adelaide City Cross, Brickworks, Hallet Cove, Harbourtown Adelaide
VIC – Dandenong, Docklands, (and possibly Hamilton)
WA – Dianella, Kalamunda
